It Takes Time

I think it's so interesting how something I first did with Nathan probably a year ago has just now sunk in for him...makes me think of everything I'm doing and teaching him; he does pay attention even if it doesn't seem like it right at that moment.  He was watching an episode of the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and when Mickey first comes up the sidewalk, he asks if the viewer would like to come to his Clubhouse with him.  From the first time we watched this intro, I've always answered Mickey, "Sure, Mickey, thanks!"  And now that's what I hear Nathan saying when Mickey asks that question.  Sometimes it just takes awhile.
